I'm Brian Kim, a video editor and videographer working toward VFX compositing. I call myself a perpetual novice: I'm happiest when I'm learning a new skill or a new piece of gear.
Right now I'm at H Mart Studio, where I handle most of the video production, from commercial product shoots and ads to planning, shooting and editing the KVD (Kimchi Every Day) series for YouTube and Instagram. On the side I've made social content that found an audience.
In my own time I build compositing shots to sharpen rotoscoping, mattes and masks, motion tracking, green screen keying and colour correction. The goal is to bring those skills together with what I've learned as an editor.
